A lovely little town just a few minutes from the border. Friendly locals, good food (not to mention the coffee!), and ice cream or granita for the kids. Afterwards, a stroll through the town or to the market to buy excellent Italian delicacies at fair prices. Always worth a visit when I'm in the area.

Lacking in charm, many shops and restaurants are closed. I don't need to go back. Lago is on the bike path, though. Functional, so OK.
