While slightly on the smaller side—as is typical for many Swiss mountain hotels—they are comfortable and efficiently organized. My room was not Matterhorn facing but they do offer Matterhorn facing rooms. For guests checking in early or checking out early but planning to continue sightseeing for rest of the day, the hotel provides a secure luggage storage facility, which is very convenient. After a long and tiring day exploring the mountains, the steam room located in the basement is a real highlight. It offers a quiet and relaxing space to unwind and recharge. The hotel also provides a microwave in the basement, allowing guests to heat or prepare simple meals—an underrated but very practical amenity, especially for longer stays. Breakfast is good, fresh, and satisfying, providing a solid start to the day before heading out for excursions. Overall, Hotel Bristol Zermatt combines warm hospitality, practical facilities, and a convenient location, making it a reliable and pleasant choice for both short and extended stays in Zermatt.

I initially chose this hotel for its great location and beautiful balcony view near a popular Matterhorn photo spot. However, what truly impressed us was the outstanding service. After checking out and moving to another accommodation, we faced difficulties due to a steep, snow-covered path. Despite no longer being guests, the hotel kindly offered free overnight luggage storage and even arranged a transfer to the train station the next day. The care and support we received were truly exceptional. The room was clean, well equipped, and comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hotel in Zermatt with genuine hospitality and excellent service.

Best stay i had in Switzerland. I booked a matterhorn view for one night. It only came out for 2-3hour 😂 so depends very much on your luck guy. I like the spa. But i was expecting it to have like a onsen. Anyways, the most satisfying stay i had in Switzerland compared to the other. Although they are not cheap. And yeah they do provide shuttle to the train station! Remember to ask reception
