Premier Inn Carlisle M6 Jct44 hotel

On the face of it a great deal. Very comfortable room, good location, quiet. BUT There are two Wi-Fi networks. The free one is almost unusable as it’s so slow. The premium network is chargeable. If I were a cynic I would say that the standard one is unusable so that customers had to pay for the premium to get any kind of service, otherwise, why have two networks? Please note, the cost of providing a workable network is negligible and should be free. All the best chains do. The meal I had was average at best. 6 small cubes of chicken in a watery curry sauce with a dollop of rice and a popadum £13.50

As its a premier inn the rooms are pretty standard. Very comfy and everything you need. This is quite an old site, so can be a little noisy with the doors and stairs etc. There is no lift on site, and no rooms are on the ground level. There is a stair lift available for the lower rooms, for accessibility, however as a comparison contractor staying here brining my tools out of the car, I couldn't carry them all to the second floor, the staff were very helpful and let me put them in a store room. Overall a good stay, but if you need a lift as you can't use stairs you may need to use a stair lift so request the lower floor The restaurant is good quality, but you do need to book. .

Hotel in a very convenient spot close to the motorway. Reception service was great couldn't fault them, the room was clean and tidy, I did have to ask for another towel but that was dealt with straight away. As for the restraunt... Well the service was good, food was great... But the atmosphere was awful, all three serving staff werent being very nice and moaning about another staff member not quietly I may add, it made the vibe of the restraunt go down, not what you want to hear when your trying to have a relaxing meal. Also overheard them calling another table (I know people can be difficult) but if your going to moan about customers do it where no one can hear you.
