Camping Costa Merlata

Huge campsite, primarily for permanent campers it seemed. In late August, it was pretty deserted. Large sanitary facilities which have seen better days, but they're clean and functional. A nice swimming spot at the beach is just outside the campsite.

Overpriced for what it offers.... The facilities are quite old, for hot water you need to pay extra and it still wasn't working when I tried to. At least everything was clean... They put other people just inches from our tent, on the spot we thought we were renting. A bit of a rip off really. A plus is that you can reach the sea easily by foot.

They don't like you to stay long if you're there with a tent. They're going to use different strategies to make you feel uncomfortable in order to get rid of you (for example, allowing you to park in certain area that's good for you and after they tell you can't do it anymore). It's reasonable they have their own businesses plan but you don't treat people in that way.
