La Viletta is a B&B, not a B&B. A B for Bed is fine, but you can't call it a B for Breakfast. No tasty fresh rolls, no fresh coffee, no boiled eggs, and no fresh fruit juice, but packaged crackers from the supermarket, a coffee pod machine, a carton of eggs in the fridge, and a carton of fake fruit juice. The house itself is nice but not really clean. It's located in the middle of the authentic narrow alleys of Dolceaqua, but there's no panoramic view from your terrace; all you see are houses. The washing machine and extractor fan were broken. Access from the parking lot, a 250m walk, isn't exactly easy if you're carrying suitcases. Pets are allowed, but to walk our dog, I had to drive to a small river 5km away, only to lose my parking space upon returning. The English owner claims to have private parking spaces, but everyone parks there. If you park in the public parking deck, your car is scratched with a sharp object by other residents, who I suspect aren't very pleased with all those tourists parking there. Tourists can't take out their trash because you need a pass for the dumpster at the bottom of the main road. Dolceaqua is a nice village, though!

La Villetta B&B is a beautiful and very comfortably furnished little house, perfectly equipped. The owner is incredibly kind and gave us many great recommendations for the town and restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!

I stayed in this charming B&B over the April 25th long weekend. A very comfortable, super clean, two-story apartment equipped with everything you could need for a short or long stay, from an iron, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen. Ms. Carol welcomed us with fantastic kindness. I highly recommend it.
