Hotel Jenewein Gurgl

This was our 3rd stay at Hotel Jenewein and we loved every minute, again! Previously we've been in the off-peak ski season which was great, so i was nervous that during half-term this would falter but i had nothing to worry about, they were even better! It's perfectly positioned for ski in and ski out, the food is excellent, the rooms very clean and tidy - best of all are the staff who are superb and gifted at hospitality. The spa is perfect too, with a number of sauna and steam rooms so it never gets crowded and the spa massage treatments are exactly what you need after a day on the slopes! Would thoroughly recommend a stay here, you won't be disappointed.

Good location - Next to ski slopes. Beds were clean but awful - the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel. Even 3 additional duvets on top of the mattress didn’t do the trick. Dinner was also extremely basic - one evening we were served a jacket potato with chopped up vegetables..no butter, beans, cheese…just chopped veg. Some of the reception staff were also quite hostile. Although breakfast and dinner was included, the quality of the food was terrible.

Had an excellent stay at Hotel Jenewein! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfectly situated next to the slopes and the spa/sauna facilities is one of the best I've seen at a ski resort. The quality of evening dinners was exceptional with the menus changing daily. The overall experience went beyond my expectation and will definitely be coming back again.
