Valley Cottage

We stayed at Valley Cottage in November 2013. The B&B is what every B&B should aspire to. The décor is fresh, crisp and clean with beautifully painted furniture giving a bright contemporary feel. Mike and Sue are the perfect hosts and are keen to share their knowledge of this beautiful part of South Cornwall. Valley Cottage is nestled in a wooded valley, literally one minutes walk from the sea. The bustling port of Mevagissey is only a short walk away along the coast road and the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project are also very near. We will certainly be recommending Valley Cottage to all our friends and hope to visit again ourselves soon.

Let me first say that this is no ordinary B&B. Tucked away in a quiet lane off Portmellon Cove this place is a little gem. Hosts Sue and Mike offer a very warm welcome and a fabulous breakfast ! Valley Cottage is decorated in a modern light fresh style with a hint of the seaside. It is pristinely clean and the rooms very comfortable. Crisp white linen, robes, WIFI and On top of all this the rates are very reasonable too. The lounge has large sofas and a wood burning stove, super cosy. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

Stayed for the first time last week and there is only one word for this gem of a find, incredible,especially the hosts Sue and Mike. This b&b deserves a 5 star+ rating.
