La Casa di Sofia - Casa Vacanza Monterosi

We spent two lovely weeks in mid-August there. Antonieta the owner is so welcoming and kind. We got everything we asked for. The house is specious, and the rooms are clean, with air-conditioning in the bedrooms. There's also a kitchen with everything you need. Mosquitos in the summer are a big problem in the Italian countryside- so we didn't dine much outside on the porch, and didn't play much outside on the lawn. A major advantage of this house is that it's close to the center of Monterosi, 5min walk from the bar, the supermarket and the bakery. It's also 2min from the main road, so you are 20min drive from both Lago di Bracciano and Lago di Vico, and only 45min from Roma.

Mrs. Antonietta was truly friendly and kind during our stay. The house was spotless and beautiful (with a beautifully kept garden). The area is very quiet; we will definitely be back!

Quiet and comfortable location. The owner is extremely helpful and kind. We are very attached to this location, and every year it's our go-to destination for trips to the Golf Nazionale and Terre dei Consoli courses.
