Hotel Klingler

One of the nicest rooms we've stayed in - the addition of a small, sunny 'reading annex' was ideal. Polite and helpful staff. Decent restaurant attached too, and only a 30 metre walk to the nearest bus-stop. Make sure you use the Achensee Welcome card issued by the hotel to get free local buses. Far better and cheaper than hiring a car.

Incredible rooms. Great service. Impeccable meals, especially the breakfast buffet- wow! To make it all dream like, the added view of the local surroundings that greets one in the mornings is out of this world. 5 stars. South African tourist.

We stayed at the Klinger hotel next door and had our dinners at the restaurant every day of the week. The food quality was outstanding and the service was top notch. We were greeted with tasty and extensive three course meal, which we had the chance to pick from a few choices the day before. I’d recommend trying the meat and local beers.
