We had an absolutely outstanding stay here. The location is ideal. The beach is incredibly lovely. The whole place is extremely family friendly with multiple playgrounds including one directly at the beach. We came with our 17 month old who had the time of his life in the beach for a week. For a campsite, the pizza is pretty good. It is very close to the town for amenities like supermarkets and restaurants. It is easy to access Venice and the other islands in the lagoon. I recommend bringing a bicycle if you can, as there are dedicated cycle paths everywhere and make transportation even easier around the local area. Do note though that this is one of those Italian campsites that caters almost exclusively to clientele from Germany, Austria and German speaking Switzerland. The staff (who are incredibly friendly and helpful) will speak German to you by default. I knew what I was getting myself into as I came with my wife from Germany and her family, but some might find it… somewhat odd to be in what is essentially an exclave of Germany while on holiday in Italy. There were a few people from other parts of Europe, but I was definitely the only Anglophone around for the duration of my stay. I actually found this quite nice as all the other British and Americans are in Venice with their wheelie bags. There are a lot of mosquitoes this time of year but there is not a whole lot one can expect the management to do about that as the campsite is situated near the lagoon. We saw them do a spray of the bushes with insecticide at one point during our stay. Bring coils or citronella candles with you. We stayed in one of the little cabins, which was very nice, well appointed with excellent value for money. Perfect for a stay with a child. The only major negative for us during our stay was the extent of the cigarette smoking, especially at the beach. Cigarette smoke was constantly blowing into our child’s face. As I mentioned, the clientele are mostly older Germans who don’t seem to have got the message yet about the link between cigarette smoking cancer and the dangers of secondhand smoke, or who simply don’t care. I understand that with indoor smoking bans, smokers have relatively few places to enjoy a cigarette, but a good compromise would at least be to make the beach smoke free. A final suggestion: please add bigoli in salsa to the restaurant menu. It’s too addictive to have to schlep around for.

We had a wonderful holiday at Camping Dei Fiori in Ca’ Savio. The campsite is clean, well-organized, and perfectly located near a beautiful sandy beach. The pools, beach, and all facilities were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great place for families and a relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful campsite with a lot of very well maintained trees, shrubs and flowers. In the restaurant top quality dishes are served. The cleanliness is above reproach. The sanitary building, the restaurant, the housing units - everything is spotlessly clean and hygienic. And then we come to the staff. Always friendly, always helpful, always professional: the receptionists, the waiters, the gardeners, the cleaners, the technicians all make you feel really welcome and at home. We have just left and are already looking forward to next year.
