After arriving here on Sunday evening, we were greeted by one of the best hosts we’ve encountered on a Holiday… The Bedlington Terrier Seamus! The vicarage was a fantastic mix of scenic views, dramatic landscapes and an abundance of crevices filled with streams and waterfalls! Our actual hosts (The Humans) were also amazing, very friendly, laid back and trusting with your use and exploration of their grounds and facilities. The house itself was clean, well equipped with basic essentials and for the tech nerds, great internet with some signal reaching outside too! The only slight downside was the road down to the estate.. Towards the bottom of the road, the walls do get a little tight, so larger cars or vans may struggle to get down, but at this point, this point is only a caution rather than any kind of criticism. We would DEFINITELY go again and I encourage anybody that is going to the region trust us in what we are saying about the grounds! Truly something you’d see from Downton Abbey! Thank you for your hospitality and we will really miss Seamus as well! ❤️
