Bollam Cottage

Bollam Cottage is a delight! It’s a charming and cozy cottage full of thoughtful details (like a foot-bath for your aching feet, and hot tea and cake when you arrive). Breakfast was delicious with lots of options, freshly cooked and perfect before a long day of walking! We also really enjoyed meeting and chatting with Elaine. We’re so glad we stayed there on our Coast to Coast journey and would highly recommended it!

Our stay at Bollam Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The cottage was spotless and impeccably maintained, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Elaine and Peter were incredibly accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The views from the cottage were simply stunning—truly a perfect countryside retreat. And the breakfast? Exceptional! Fresh, delicious, and beautifully. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

A truly exceptional B & B in every way. From homemade cake and fresh coffee on arrival to a hot, fresh and delicious breakfast. Elaine is friendly and welcoming and has provided an environment where you can totally relax, unwind and feel at home. I had 3 nights during my C2C walk. Of particular note is the lovely residents lounge, bed and bedding and wonderful breakfast. If you are looking for a warm, homely and enjoyable stay then book here - simply delightful.
