Alpen Hotel La Montanara

We enjoyed our stay overall, it was pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant was the highlight, offering great variety, delicious food, and very professional staff. We also appreciated the large parking area, central location, and the lift, which is a nice bonus for a smaller hotel. On the downside, the bed was quite hard and squeaky, the Wi-Fi barely worked throughout our stay, and the shower was very small. The jacuzzi was colder than expected, and the Fiemme Pinè Cembra Guest Card wasn’t accepted at the Obereggen ski lift, even though we were told it would be. In short, it’s a cosy, well-located hotel with excellent food, but the comfort and value for money could be improved.

Check in was a delight and the gentleman here was very cordial and helped guide us with the parking and also with our luggage to the top floor. Rooms are good spacious and with a balcony with nice views. Bathroom is very spacio us as well. Rooms 4/5 Gentleman’s service at the reception 5/5 Breakfast was lacking any variety but to be fair many hotels lacked the same in the area. 3/5 I was going to give this place a 5/5, but the rude, short, bob cut hair, old lady completely ruined my breakfast experience. When I told her my sandwich was not exactly made the same as I ordered it and it had meat which I didn’t ask for, she threw a fit made faces and rudely gave me looks and left and threw the plate in the sink which echoed through the restaurant. When I didnt make a big deal about the sandwich, I dont understand how could she. She was angry throughout and kept rushing through the restaurant banging dishes and making a sound with everything she did afterwards. God help this lady. All the other staff were sweet and served with a delight. 5/5

We went here for the restaurant. The food had the usual great Italian quality with attention to detail. The quantity wasnt much but therefore the quality was top notch. The service was very nice and caring and had a bit of a homey feel.
