Hotel am Mühlbach - Viaceslav Kuznecov

Family run, amazing all around. Highly highly recommended as I went my partner in a one bedroom. Beautiful balcony running water to be heard with the open windows. Spacious closet had room for myself and partners clothing for 3 days. Clean restroom, hot water with heaters in the restroom and bedroom if needed. 5/5 Recommend

Hotel am Mühlbach is a delightful home base for exploring the Black Forest. The hosts are a lovely couple who and incredibly accomodating. I emailed ahead of time to let them know we would like a vegetarian dinner, and they were ready with an alternate main course. Our train was delayed for our arrival and we were worried we would get to dinner late and not be able to freshen up from our day of travel. Viaceslav picked us up at the train station and his wife whisked us to our room so that we were able to freshen up and get to the dining room just as they were beginning to serve. Breakfast was hearty and the packed lunches were so convenient. The town is quiet, dark, and conveniently located to hikes and the train station. My only word of warning is that there are few restaurant options, so I definitely recommend the hotel dinner. Highly highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel am Mühlbach. The Kuznecov family welcomed us early and made us feel at home right away. They provided a special spot for our motorcycle which was very kind. The hotel is in a beautiful area with lots of opportunity for outdoor adventures. The room was remarkable and had a lovely balcony. The food was fresh, created with care and so delicious! We enjoyed a three course evening meal (finished with yummy cream filled cake) and a bountiful breakfast. The room was well cared for and very clean, spacious, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable and cozy. We'll return the next time we're in the area. Thank you to the Kuznecov family for their hospitality, a truly exceptional experience and a wonderful stay!
