If you’re in the area, stay here! Roger and Louise’s place feels like home. The beautiful house is so comfortable and they are so helpful! The dinners Louise makes are great and it’s nice having the option for breakfast too. It was my first stop in Slovenia and they gave me recommendations for the rest of my trip. Also as a solo traveler, it was nice to meet the other guests and on my second night when it was just me, Roger and Louise ate with me. I really hope I’ll be back in Slovenia again, and if so I’ll be staying there.

A really great place to stay. Roger and Louise are welcoming, friendly with plenty of local knowledge and tips. Room was superb with the bonus of the evening sun on the balcony. Lovely home made (we had our evening meal and breakfast). Take a trip down to the river (keep your hiking boots on) for a wonderful après-hike dip.

This a long due review! We stayed at this guesthouse last June after a long walk on a hot day. Communication before our arrival was very clear and we were most welcomed when we got there. Roger and Louise are naturals for running a B&B! They love sharing their house and their story - unusual and highly interesting! - and they are very helpful if you need any information about the surroundings. We loved our room and the bathroom - best bed you can wish for! - and the fact that it is furnished with taste (no useless decorative items and appliances). Breathless view, friendly hosts and yummy dinner and breakfast! Too bad we only stayed for one night. We hope to be back with our daughters with cooler temperatures ;)
