Hostel El Paloma

The bed was not cleaned properly (hairs and other filth was in the sheets) and there was no cover for the blanket. The door did also not close well so we had to smack it hard everytime to close it properly. When calling the property owner, the service was rude while answering our question to clean the room, give us sheets and fix the door. The location is also not very nice. No airconditioning The safe (vault) is not functional

The location is excellent, with parking right outside the accommodation. The city center is just a short walk away. The rooms look fine at first glance, but it's a shame they're so neglected in terms of cleanliness. Cigarette butts and pipes were scattered on the floor, and socks from wearing them around the room were filthy. The shower was moldy and poorly cleaned, and the wastebasket was disgusting to touch. The towel racks on the bathroom radiator were covered in dirt. Luckily, the sheets and towels were clean. There was dust in the room, and the bedside tables were dirty and dusty. When we arrived, the heating wasn't on; we had to call to have it turned on. The extra pillows are best left unused. I wouldn't go back; it's passable for one night, but for a longer stay, it's better to choose somewhere else.
