Had a great time staying here. Norman is the ideal host, loved chatting with him over the massive breakfasts he would cook. Stayed for the first two nights of the walk.

The very essence of a perfect bed and breakfast. Yvette and Norman are excellent hosts, so welcoming and their beautiful home is warm and comfortable. The extensive breakfast menu is outstanding, includes an Arnold Bennett omelette!! Our room had a vast bed and a luxurious claw foot bath where I had the most amazing deep ans hot bath, very welcome after walking 16 miles. We wish we had known more of Yvette’s culinary skills, as we would have booked ahead an evening meal. Also may I add Carlisle was quite surprising. Lots of beautiful Georgian and Victorian terraces in tree lined streets. We we impressed by how smart it all was. Thank you Norman, Yvette, Charlie and Harry. We thoroughly recommend your hospitality. 👍

Yvette and Norman were so welcoming, we felt at home straight away. The room was lovely and clean and Yvette's bathroom design was brilliant, what a creative and talented lady. The breakfast menu was fantastic and absolutely delicious, wished we had booked a table for dinner. Will definitely be back.
