Abberley House

Really like this B&B. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. Easy to find as on a main road. The only fault is they have a very small carpark. Not their fault as they are limited to the space they have. Parking permits are available from the hosts so parking not insurmountable. Would definitely return here if I come to Carlisle again.

A lovely place, a nice welcome with clear instructions from host. The rooms were a nice size, very clean and nicely prepared. Parking is a little limited but adequate. Breakfast was a little 'hurried' and the toast was forgotten and brought out cold afterwards. Host was not available to inform it was missing. But, this will not stop us visiting again.

Can't fault our stay at all. Clean, comfortable and well run. It doesn't stand out in amongst other places we stayed during the Hadrian's Wall walk but that is not a bad thing at all. We had everything we need for a decent sleep (although the room could be darker - curtains needed!).
