Hotel Albatros Pontedeume

Lovely renovation especially the bathroom. A couple hours before I arrived I got a message that there’s no reception person at the hotel. This was not a major problem but I would have liked to know this when I made the reservation. Biggest negative are the pillows. Worst night sleep on the Camino. ☹️

Gorgeous little hotel, with comfortable, stylish and spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. I assume it is classed as a 2-star hotel simply because it doesn't have mini-fridges in each room, because other than that it is like staying in a lovely boutique hotel. Breakfast is excellent, as is the service.

An easy highlight of my Galician tour and Camino Ingles walk. This was a great overnight stay. The hotel is very modern and rooms superbly equipped. The town centre location suited perfectly with the lively pedestrian streets and their cafe, bars, restaurants all within a 200m range. Breakfast in the ground floor cafe was plentiful and good quality ... all was made to order and delivered to table. Easily recommended..... I really don't think you will be disappointed.
