Hotel Astur-Regal

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Our room was perfect, comfortable beds, a wonderful view of the sea and hot water in the shower. The lunch daily menu is a choice of 4 items for each course. Home cooked and generous portions. It was delicious. On first impressions, I can see what people mean when they say they staff was unfriendly but I suspect it it just the Galician reserved way. The staff aren't unfriendly at all and they definitely weren't at all rude. Breakfast in the morning was equally good with the waiter squeezing oranges for our juice. The short walk to the end point results in a stunning view of the sea. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Outdated room and bathroom but clean and spacious. We had a very peaceful night here as our room was looking on a garden. Our host was very friendly and kind.

Terrible service!!! All the staff are rude and doing you a favour by doing their jobs 🤣 If you so unhappy, change your job!!! Or do not work with customers as no customer service at all!!! Got here just at 4:05pm when restaurant closes. Could not even serve a sandwich to us pilgrims, who have been walking all day! Nothing elae in town was open, even though Google said some were open 😑. The rooms were ok and the food was average! Bedding and towels did not smell good!
