Loch Aluinn

What a fantastic place. Right from the start we were warmly welcomed by Marjorie who gave us an overview of our beautiful accommodation. We had the four poster suite which was amazing, so clean and comfortable with luxurious sheets & towels and the views, wow! Breakfast was the best we've had and the setup so thoughtful. The attention to detail and personal touches were above & beyond and it was very evident that Marjorie took a lot of pride in what she offered. We could not recommend this more.

We spent 4 nights at Loch Aluinn B&B in mid-May and it was a truly delightful experience. Our room was a suite with a good-sized bedroom, a separate lounge area (in addition to the common lounge area for all guests) and a large bathroom with shower. For a 4 night stay it was perfect and gave us room to spread out. The rooms looked out over Loch Aluinn and the hills across the water. It’s in a very quiet area, but there are no eating places within walking distance. We had a car so we went to a nearby pub every night for excellent meals. The location was perfect for getting to the various parts of Skye. Marjorie is a wonderful hostess and was very helpful with any problems we had. Breakfast was your choice of eggs, cereals, yogurts, fruit, toast, etc and we ate way more than we usually do for breakfast. I highly recommend Loch Aluinn B&B.

Loch Aluinn was the perfect location for our stay in Isle of Skye. We woke up to a stunning view of the Loch and the mountains around it. Marjory was the perfect hostess! We were greeted each day with warm hospitality and a delicious breakfast. Our room had thoughtful touches throughout and we never wanted for water, tea or yummy shortbread biscuits. When you first enter the home you can immediately appreciate the ambiance and comfort put into a warm welcome.
