The Old School Hotel is beautiful. We stayed in the English room & it was really sweet, spacious & comfortable. The views are absolutely gorgeous!! We received wonderful service during our stay & the breakfast was lovely. The hotel is located overlooking the picturesque harbour & is only a short stroll away from the shops & eateries. We wish we had more time here. It was so peaceful & relaxing. We would love to return here one day in the future.

Stayed 2 nights on a Doc Martin trip to Port Isaac in late October. Nice place in a great location. We had 2 rooms for our family group of 3 – the large “Biology” room and single “Physics” room. Latter was a little tired and needed a freshen up, but former was big and roomy and in good shape, perfect as our “hang out” room, although the fold out third bed was very uncomfortable. Bathrooms in both were immaculate and seemed brand new. Very nice restaurant, wonderful breakfast. Of my “big three” – comfortable bed, abundant hot water and good WiFi – only the WiFi underperformed. Though the weather didn’t cooperate, Port Isaac and northwest Cornwall were fantastic. We did the Doc Martin walking tour of Port Isaac with part time show participant Mike Meakins which I highly recommend.
