Nice and big camping with great views and sandy beaches (one in front, one wide on the side). Entire site is grassy, offering quiet spots. May get crowded in toilets/showers when busy. Looking at other comments, staff attitude and prices are typical for Norway; paid showers are standard. If a smileless greeting during 5min conversation ruins your trip, and defines your rating of the place, maybe rethink what really matters...

Beautiful location and spacious camping spots. As others have pointed out the lady in the reception could definitely work on her attitude, you do not feel welcome on arrival. Facilities are old but decently clean and functional. Showers are 20 nok for 5 mins. You also have to pay if you want to use the stove.

Had a wonderful time here at Fredvang. Not sure what all the negative reviews are for to be honest. Woman at front desk was very nice. I think people might forget that English will be her second language so may come across as more blunt. She was smiling though and appreciates manners. The campground was massive and shower and toilets were clean. Maybe could do with extra facilities given the amount of people on site but otherwise had a great time. I think if you come in with a friendly attitude then you won't have any issues. Pricing was fair and it was easy to get parked and situated. Need to walk a little for the view if you don't get a good spot but honestly everything was good.
