Camping de l'Illaz

Very nice and simple camping. But beware if you are a walker: you need to bring your own food, there is no shop at the site. The nearest shop is the Sherpa supermarket in Bessans. The supermarket people came to pick us up from the camping, when we rang the about their opening hours, because they were almost closing!!

Nice campsite, if you like rustic charm. Clean sanitary facilities, no complaints. The pitches are scattered to the right, to the left, and behind a thicket – it's unusual. But it's nice, it's just a shame there aren't more electrical hookups, that's the only downside. Close to the river...right by the water! 👍

A superb nature campsite in the middle of a plateau near Bessans. Friendly receptionists, simple but clean and functional restrooms. Hot showers are available 24/7. Please bring your own food. Beautiful pitches. Very reasonably priced. Perfect!
