Boutique Hotel ,,Villa Franca''

Overbooking at its finest. We had a valid and confirmed booking on Booking.com. We requested a cancellation with a refund, but it was denied. When part of our group arrived, our rooms had already been given to other guests, even though our Booking.com reservation was still active. The receptionist said they were waiting until 12 AM to claim on the website that we hadn’t shown up, but we were already there. So we drove for 4 hours for nothing. We can’t wait to file a legal complaint with InfoCons — hopefully they shut it down. The receptionist was almost harassing us for their mistake, but we got it on video. If you are curious why we didn’t called them, well we did, but none answered. If they would have answered, at least we wouldn’t drove for 4h hours from Oradea + the return in the same night!!

I called them and booked an apartment for 4 people,for 2 nights. 2 days later they called me that apartment is not available anymore, but they can offer me a twin room (with 2 beds of one person) to accommodate all 4 of us. In the meantime I checked on Booking.com, the apartment was available so I booked it from there . Well, Booking withdraw the money instantly and I found out that actually the apartment is not available and it was available on booking by mistake... They requested me to cancel the Booking reservation, just that doing that it involved paying one night of accomodations. Long story short - chaos, please do not rely on the reservations they do, I am still fighting to recover my money...

We have booked the room at this place just a few hours before arrival and we weren't told that there is a water supply shortage. We also had to pay before we saw the room. There wasn't any help from the management, we had to buy bottled water to wash. We weren't given a discount because of the lack of running water.
