Zell am See, Austria
180 Seeuferstraße, 5700 Zell am See, AustriaPatrycja Juszczyk
Clear water, plenty of space on the grass to sit on, 2 beach volleyball courts, ping-ping table, toilets, outdoor showers and covered spaces for changing. The shore is muddy but there is a floating bridge with a pool railing to get into the water. The lake is shallow so everyone including kids can swim freely and safely. There is a parking lot, but I was there after a summer season (after 15/09) so it was free. I don’t know the prices for normal season. There are bins but no cafes nor bars (maybe there are some within the summer season, don’t know). Next to it, there is a fenced dog run, as there are no dogs allowed on the area. There is a small airport nearby so expect a little noise from small planes from time to time flying above the lake.

Nice place next to the Zell am See with beach volleyball, paddle boards and restaurant with fries, eis coffee and toasts. Good for swimming and/or sun burn :) You can come by car and park for a small payment with card, but you need cash for the food.
