Agriturismo La Cerqua

Truly amazing set of buildings on a truly amazing set of property. Gino and his wife and daughter provided a very comfortable overnight stay with the delicious dinner and great breakfast. The room was enormous and although it was very hot outside the ceiling fan provided more than enough ventilation to keep it cool. I had worried that without air conditioning that might be a problem but it was not. The bathroom fixtures are all up to date clean and attractive. There's a swimming pool and beautiful lawns with views out over the valley and mountains. It's quiet and a great place for a family to spend a weekend or a pilgrim to spend the night.

This Agriturismo is locaties in top of a mountain with a beautiful view over the valley. It is a family run business, which is repressented in the way the run the ageiturismo and take care of the visitors. We had a lovely stay in the authentic and large rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. They also have a spa room with an infrared sauna, steam sauna and hottub you can use privately (price not included). I recommend taking a pasta making workshop here, where you learn to make pasta according to Italian tradition and get to eat it afterwards with the other guests! Another plus: they have a charger for electric cars which you can use (price not included).

If you want a place away from the noise of the city and at peace with nature, this place is what you are looking for. The service is very excellent and the food is fresh and local, with a unique flavor and each dish is a surprise. The rooms have a comfortable atmosphere and an old and simple arrangement. I recommend this place to disconnect for a while.
