We recently stayed at Chalet Hôtelier les Équinoxes and generally had a wonderful experience. It truly felt like a home away from home, with just a few minor areas for improvement. The Highlights: Unbeatable Location: The biggest plus is the location. Situated right between the La Daille and Funival lifts (less than 100m away), it offers true ski-in/ski-out convenience. Pre-arrival support: A few days before our arrival, Greg contacted us via both email and WhatsApp to provide detailed information, which was a very thoughtful and professional touch. Comfort & Safety: The hotel is very comfortable, warm, and feels secure. Ski Shop: There is a ski rental shop right inside the hotel. Nicola (I hope I spelled that correctly!) provided us with high-quality equipment at a great price. Thank you, Nicola! Parking: The indoor parking is a great convenience. Although the entrance is a bit narrow and can be stressful to navigate, the hotel team did an amazing job keeping the exit clear despite the constant snowfall. Room for Improvement: Essential Supplies: We stayed in an apartment, and the quantity of daily essentials (trash bags, dishwasher tablets, etc.) was insufficient for the duration of our stay. It would be much better if these were provided in adequate numbers based on the length of the stay, so guests don't have to visit the reception to ask for more. Wellness Area Policy: There is a small pool, jacuzzi, and sauna available. However, a reservation and an extra fee are required for the sauna. Given that the fee is very small, it felt a bit unnecessary—perhaps it's to ensure people show up for their bookings, but it was still a bit strange for a hotel of this caliber. The hotel has a restaurant offering breakfast and other meals. While we didn’t dine there, it’s a great option for those looking for on-site dining. Despite the minor shortage of supplies and the odd sauna fee, we were very satisfied. The hospitality and the prime location made our trip memorable. We would definitely consider staying here again!

I really cannot say enough about Les Equinoxes ! We stayed there during the Christmas / New Years week in unit 201. The building architecture is amazing and you simply cannot beat the location. The unit itself was great and fixtures, furniture, and appliances are all high-end. Our family of 4 had more than enough room. The ski room was great and location is directly adjacent to the funicular. The only disappointment was that we waited until our last day to have lunch at their restaurant! It was fabulous. Service was great and prompt. Menu was extensive and pricing was very reasonable. Which is hard to find these days in Val D! We'll definitely return to Val D and hope to be lucky to stay at Les Equinoxes again ! One note for improvement: Although the light fixtures were high end , it seemed like the unit can use more lighting, especially around the mirrors in the main living room and bathrooms.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom 6-person apartment. It was fabulous. Well stocked kitchen, great views, great location, ski locker room right next to piste, lovely spa area, receptionists very friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
