We contacted the hotel by email one day before our arrival. They replied and began their message with: “YOUR RESERVATION CAN CURRENTLY BE ACCEPTED.” We responded by asking whether it would be possible to extend our stay by one night. However, we received no reply. On the day of our arrival, we called the hotel and were informed that our room had been given away to other guests. They claimed we hadn’t confirmed the reservation, which is simply not true. As a result, we had to find alternative accommodation for that night. The man and woman we spoke to on the phone were unfriendly and said it was a miscommunication, but their email clearly included a confirmation of the reservation.

When we arrived, the host allowed us to choose between two available rooms. Parking is included and safe. The guests were respectful and the home environment was elegant, cozy, and relaxed. We had a room on the second floor with access to the side and back yard. The host was very kind and helped us with troubleshooting a small issue with the television in our room. It was a pleasant interaction. We added breakfast to the stay and the price was very reasonable. Morning staff was professional, polite, and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was simple, good quality ingredients, and the service was fantastic! The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood that hosts a café at the local park about 3 minutes away and that is where we had dinner. Had we stayed another night we would have hiked on down to the beach which is about 10-15 minutes away from the home. It’s the perfect home away from home. From Albuquerque, NM Bob and Cristal highly recommend this place and it’s worth making the drive. It has a pool we didn’t get to use as our time was limited but it is certainly a place we will return to on our next visit to Spain.

Last summer we stayed there for one night and it was perfect, and very classy. The house and garden were beautiful, and everthing was clean and nice. The Owner was extremly kind and helpful, he even drove us back to Laredo, when we couldn´t get a cab. We really recommend this place and would like to come back sometime.
