Hotel-Restaurant Arc-en-ciel

Maybe the best hotel experience I've had. The staff are so nice and helpful, the room was perfect - clean, ready on time, had all the right amenities. Lovely restaurant on site. I had no idea where to ski; the team at Arc were knowledgable and eager to make sure I had the best time on the slopes. The ski rental was included and the folks at Albert ski rental shop were so efficient and easy to work with. Everyone was just overly kind, friendly and always smiling. I arrived in the afternoon and since the rental shop was so efficient and the Eggli gondola is a 2 minute walk, I got to ski and extra afternoon that I hadn't planned, what a bonus! I can't say enough about this place, it's special. Extra thanks to David and Wille, you guys were so helpful with everything!

Arc-en-Ciel is more than a hotel — it’s a feeling. From the first moment, I felt genuinely welcome. The warmth of the staff, their kindness and natural attentiveness made my stay truly special. Everything felt easy, calm and sincere. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, with a perfect location — just a few steps from Eggli. Traveling alone with my dog, I felt safe, respected and very comfortable. Thank you for creating a place with real heart. I will definitely come back.

I would give the hotel 5 stars, as the staff has been excellent, the rooms incredibly clean and the location just great. I have been especially impressed by the small stuffed animal that was placed as gift for our toddler- she loved it. It’s been our second stay here and we will sure come back. I have to deduct one star for the restaurant where we ate 3 times during our stay. The restaurant manager is very hectic and rather unfriendly, even when you are with a small toddler as a hotel guest and a reservation and the restaurant is still empty he rolls his eyes when you request a small change. Besides, he runs/slides through the restaurant to seat guests whilst others are trying to have a comfortable meal. You shouldn’t be a restaurant manager if you get stressed so easily… The food is good though and the rest of the staff has been very nice!
