Highland Getaway Inn

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and would especially like to compliment the excellent staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. The team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at all times and took the time to explain everything clearly so we always knew what was happening and what to expect. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was exceeding our expectations — our room and all the common areas were spotless and very well maintained, which made our stay even more relaxing. The location is also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport links, making it very convenient for getting around. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service, comfort, and an excellent location.

Maybe it’s the long hikes talking, but I love these homey places with food that feels like it’s straight from grandma’s kitchen. I had an amazing cottage pie and a brilliant spotted dick, both excellent. The service was helpful and friendly. The décor is a bit tacky, but honestly, who cares. In our Czech tourist destinations it’s usually hard to find good food, most places feel like tourist traps. This was the opposite: solid food, solid prices.

Had dinner here whilst doing the WHW. Had a delicious chilli, with rice and nachos. We devoured the lot, no room for pudding. We sat upstairs with a view of the water. Can highly recommend this place, really good service and good quality food.
