It's pretty basic but they at least have toilet facilities and drinking water available and the also sell firewood. The numbered pitches are great. If it wasn't for the inconsistent weather we get here it would be perfect but if you don't get nice weather it can ruin your stay. Highly recommend, just make sure you've checked the weather before you book. Which can be difficult to predict more than a few days in advance.

Small basic campsite by the side of Loch lomond run by the park authorities . Has compost toilet, fresh drinking water and at least one luggage transfer co. will deliver and collect from there. The grass was a bit threadbare in places when I was there. Handy location if you are walking the West Highland Way or heading up Ben Lomond.Onsite staff were most helpful.

We arrived to our pitch along the loch, number 6. First impression was that I’ve booked the worst pitch, it was small, muddy and impossible to find a spot that was level without roots. Just as we got the tent up it started to rain. The facilities lacked roofed seating. The only place you could take shelter was your own tent or the toilets that was quite literally disgusting. I have no issues with dry toilets but these had pee all over and around the seat and lid so you couldn’t touch it. It felt dirty and unhygienic. The muddy pitch got even muddier in the rain and the tent and everything that wasn’t inside the inner tent got muddy and extremely dirty. The lack of good pitching ground and lack of general cover made this experience hell on earth. As it was raining we couldn’t make a fire with the prepaid wood or cook our dinner any other place than next to the toilets. How about build a roofed seating area and perhaps a place to make a fire in cover from the rain as that’s not an unheard occurrence in Scotland.
