Proper rustic mountain experience. Host is incredibly friendly. You eat good and cheap food a 2 minutes walk away at his house. The cabin is charming and feels like what the peaks of the Balkans trail should be like when it was first opened. Only gripe for me is shower doesn't go hot only tepid, and I love a hot shower.

The host and his wife (life 😌) took mercy on us in the middle of the pouring rain despite already being fully booked. They treated us to a bountiful last-minute dinner and then greeted us with coffee, breakfast and snack for the road in the morning. We listened to life stories, talked politics and overall bonded over open and honest conversation. The stay does not compare to the rest along the tourist-catered business that peak of the balkans has become. Keep the spirit alive !! Thanks for everything ❤️

What a fun stay! We stayed with another couple and we had the mountain cabin to ourselves. What a beautiful location and way of enjoying nature and unwinding with fantastic food and a wood burning stove in the winter. Would certainly reccomend!
