Hotel Trovador

Needed a place to stay in Tomar and regrettably chose this hotel. Very dated room with the most basic amenities. The TV didn't work at all and was about the size of a laptop screen. The bed had a plastic sheet underneath which made it sweaty and uncomfortable and the pillows were awful. We weren't forwarned about the 300 odd 17 and 18 year olds who'd completely booked out every other room in the place. We were woken at around 3am by the drunken partying in the hallways, stairs, lobby and outside the hotel. This didn't stop until around 5. There was no effort from staff to control this. As we have a 1 year old, this made things very difficult. The breakfast was average, although the coffee was ok. One of the worst stays I've ever had in a hotel.

We stopped over in Tomar for the day by train. This hotel was kind enough to hold our luggage for us while we walked around. Supreme kindness.

Very good hotel for pilgrims and others. Reasonable cost. Rooms clean. Great Indian Restaurant across the road. Breakfast good.
