Beare's Den Campsite

Nice little campsite in a beautiful location. Facilities are ok. Always hot water in the showers and kitchen. Freezer (for ice blocks), fridge and kettle are nice touches. Only complaint is that the facilities need a good deep clean. All ledges, windowsills, around sink plugs etc look like they never get done, so it feels grubby. And mould starting to grow in shower corners.

With the weather clearing up the views from the campsite are stunning. The facilities are decent and clean. We had the luck to arrive on Saturday and could still sign up for pizza night. Artisan pizza made to order and baked in the pizzaoven built by the owner himself. This campsite goes on our list “visit again when in the area”.

We loved this place, the campsite is positioned 10 minute walk from a bay where you can swim and enjoy an evening. Communication was brilliant at all times. Facilities were perfectly acceptable and looking forward to returning when they've been updated. We spent our time enjoying Cornwall on foot and via the brilliant bus service from the stop at the end of the road, meaning we could leave the car behind most days, perfect! Lovely round walk via coast path and return by fields to the pub would highly recommend If you want a low key, chilled base with the sea and transport close by this is a great option.
