Really really not doing enough for the price they’re charging. We payed over €50 per person for a bunk. They don’t have women’s only forms available and there’s nowhere to change. No under bed storage and only tiny lockers available. The bathrooms weren’t very clean and no shower gel or shampoo is provided. One of the shower doors was broken. I wasn’t given a towel at check-in and had to chase down a worker. The towels are well worn and mismatched. No floor length mirror anywhere. The kitchen is a bit chaotic and despite labelling my drinks they were thrown out anyway. I get that bled is an in demand location but property prices and labour arnt high enough to justify these prices with facilities so poor and ill maintained. They ask you to strip your own bed at the end of your stay which is usually no issue when spending €20 a night but after spending €150 for a very crowded room with bad washroom facilities I really think they’re squeezing every bit of profit they can and delivering very little. The staff were very friendly though.

Travellers Haven truly lives up to its name, a warm, welcoming spot for budget-conscious travellers looking to experience the magic of Lake Bled. Just a short stroll from the lake itself, this hostel offers easy access to Bled Castle, the picturesque island, and plenty of local cafés serving the famous Bled cream cake. The hostel’s atmosphere is laid-back and social, making it easy to meet other travellers. Colleen your host is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with recommendations, whether you’re after a hidden hiking trail or the best place for a sunset viewpoint. Rooms are clean and functional, with comfortable beds and secure lockers. The communal areas are a definite highlight: a spacious kitchen for cooking your own meals, a cosy lounge for relaxing, and a lovely outdoor terrace where you can soak up the alpine scenery. One thing to note is that Travellers Haven can get quite busy, especially during the summer months, so booking ahead is a smart idea. All in all, Travellers Haven is a fantastic base for exploring Lake Bled. It’s affordable, friendly, and perfectly located, exactly what you want in a hostel. Highly recommended for solo travellers, backpackers, or anyone looking to connect with a fun international crowd while enjoying one of Slovenia’s most iconic destinations.

I had a very nice stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. The hostel is conveniently located near the bus stop and close to the lake. While the cleanliness was acceptable, it wasn't spotless. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend this hostel!
