Auberge de la Nova

Our room has 8 beds on the second floor. You need to put your gears in the storage room. Shower and toilet are shared. No limitation on shower, however, you may not have hot water. No Wi-Fi and the whole area does not have any cell phone signal. We literally lost contact with friends for the day. The reason we pick here was that we can spend 5 euro to take a shuttle to La Ville des Glacies where can save us 3 miles and incline 1300 ft.

Nice spot but the auberge is so cramped I felt claustrophobic. Just too many people rammed into a very small space. Rooms were basic and filled with bunk beds no space left for anything else. Two toilets for 30 people on my floor and two showers. Dinner was OK. Breakfast was poor.

Stayed for a night on September 26th, the last day they were open for season 2025. Slept in a dormitory with 5 bunk beds, 7 people in total. Room was heated and had sink, but air got too stuffy and hot during the night. Unfortunately chose a shower with no hot water (did not know at the time - but other 2 showers did have hot water, thought hot water was finished), so check other showers when neseccary. People/staff were friendy, english was well-spoken. Food was good. We enjoyed or stay.
