Rukin's Campsite

Surely one of the finest campsites in the Dales. Wonderfully old fashioned and welcoming check in process in the farmhouse cafe/shop, plenty of pitches and a superb location next to Catrake Force. Indoor wash up room was a life saver when it came to midges (beware!) Showers also very spacious. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Lovely campsite. Fire pits already on your pitch so no need to take one. Theres a little shop you can get your logs from. They also sell fresh cakes and other essentials. You Can camp by the river or up on the fields. The choice is yours. Will definitely be going back.

Fantastic site, lots of space and very friendly welcome from the owners. I camped with my motorbike by the riverside for one night, enjoyed a lovely trek around the pennine way in the evening. Quiet site, popular with walkers / backpackers. Great toilet and shower facilities and a well stocked shop. Not a holiday camp, a proper working farm campsite. Logs / firewood / pits also available .
