The Cottage Hotel & Restaurant

I warm welcoming hotel, where you feel at home and very well cared for. Nothing is too much trouble. A family happy relaxed atmosphere where guests all chat to one another and friendships are made. The food is outstanding and very high quality. The views of Hope Cove are amazing and the whole area a wonderful place to be. Dog friendly so open to people who want to bring their dogs on holiday. Dogs donot go into the bar, lounge or dining room. If you want to completely relax this is a very happy place to be.

Had a wonderful weekend at Hope Cottage Hotel. The staff are amazing , very smartly dressed ,nothing is too much trouble,they take the time to ask if everything ok.Everyone was Very well looked after. Food was good at breakfast,I have fresh fruit,compote & yogurt.Eggs cooked to order. Evening meal is really good value if you pre book table 48hours before you arrive. We stayed in a standard double room.Bathroom was an odd shape,obviously it’s an add on due to the age of property.But for what we paid I’m certainly not complaining. Views are breathtaking. Bar really good variety with reasonable prices.

We spent 6 nights at The Cottage Hotel, including their New Year Celebrations. Once again we were extremely impressed with the consistently high standards experienced throughout our stay. All staff were friendly and efficient at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. The New Year programme was excellent and most enjoyable. We would definitely recommend a holiday at The Cottage Hotel. We could write reams in praise of this hotel. Hopefully this one phrase encapsulates it all - The Heart of Hospitality!
