Hotel Berthod

Real gem of a hotel. Modern decor in rooms but with an alpine charm throughout the common areas. Really well placed for the town and its restaurants. A bit of a hike to the lift base but then you can't be well located for both town and lift in Courmayeur! In snowboard boots no problem. In ski boots you should just rent a locker on the plateau and save a lot of effort. The service team were excellent, welcoming and always ready to serve at the bar. They even opened the breakfast area for us early on our last morning and made us some coffee! Would recommend.

Triffic breakfast and lovely staff. Rooms (based on my experience) are quite compact but have great en suites. IMHO It's a bit far to walk from here to the main ski lift in ski boots but there are alternatives.

Excellent family run hotel. Loved our stay here as part of day 3/4 of TMB. Would have preferred to stay here longer! Room was very nicely appointed with a good sized bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Located just 200 m from main shopping area of town. Buffet breakfast was one of the best- they had a basket of chocolates on it! A first for us!
