Alpenhotel Edelweiss

Great place. Nice and clean room, delicious breakfast buffet. Hotel provides guest cards which you can use to take a bus in Achensee area and get a discount for Seilbahn and other things. It’s located 30 minutes away from the beach, but you can take a bus and get there in a minute.

Loved this hotel. Bedroom was very cool even in height of summer with no air con. Staff were friendly. Walking distance to the lake and a supermarket. Right beside cable car. Breakfast could have been better. Birthday party was held for a staff member that went on into the early hours of the morning and was quite noisy...

We stayed there for 3 nights on a half board deal which was ideal for us. The rooms are very dated but clean. The food for breakfast and the evening meal was tasty and plenty of it 😁👍. Ideal location right next to the gondola station if you like the mountains or close to the cycle paths to the lake or the routes to alms up in the alps.
