Villa Rosita (1915), in La Pedrera d'Otur/Outur (Valdés, Asturias), at the foot of the N-634 road. A "Casa de indianos" (a type of house built by returning emigrants) designed according to an eclectic style by the Avilés architect Julio Galán Carbajal (1875-1939) for Ángel García Fernández (1877-1960), an emigrant to Rosario (Santa Fe, Argentina), where he and his brother Ramón owned the La Favorita department store. It is named after his wife, Rosa Zanchi (d. 1957). Private property.

A magnificent stay in a colossal house. It transports you directly to the colonial era in Asturias; everything is beautifully preserved and furnished. The rooms are very original, the bed very comfortable, and it's all just 5 minutes from Luarca.

One of the best experiences I've ever had: a completely restored colonial-style house in 2020. It looks brand new. The moment you step inside, you're transported to another era. Absolutely breathtaking. A must-see at least once in your life. Best of all was the couple who hosted us. We can only express our gratitude.
