Simple yet luxurious. Shelter is provided along with a fireplace, a cistern from which to collect water, and a floor on which to create dreams as you lay your head.

A pretty good shelter, without luxuries like seating or lots of tools, but if you're prepared it's very good. The chimney blows a little smoke inside and the cistern is perfect for cooking with water. Recommended.

June 2025. Shelter on the GR 7 trail. A unique spot; the starry sky at night is spectacular. It has a rainwater harvesting system and water in the cistern, though I'm not sure if it's potable. Since the last visit in 2000, the shelter has deteriorated, with noticeable damage to the walls, ceiling, and surrounding vegetation. It needs repairs. Visitors must take their trash with them. Let's all work together to keep it clean. Thank you, and enjoy nature!
