B&B Sulla Strada

Stayed here while walking Via Francigena and it was one if the most beautiful and relaxing nights spent on the trail. The room was large, clean and the attention to detail was remarkable. Would gladly stay there again!

A little gem that, despite being located along the road, remains completely protected by its enchanting, large garden, featuring a modern gazebo. My friends and I, about ten of us on our way, dined there, surrounded by greenery, enjoying a meal prepared by the owner herself, delicious and perfect even for me, a vegetarian. The same goes for breakfast: rich, carefully prepared, and truly delicious. A delightful place, thank you so much!

The second stop on a truly wonderful and evocative bike trip, but I couldn't have expected anything like this when, leaving Pavia that morning, my friends told me that the host of this B&B described the location as "spartan." It might have been the arrival after a long ride and the resulting tiredness, it might have been the nature that filled our eyes upon arriving here, it might have been the simplicity and history this place conveyed, but B&B Sulla Strada moved me from the first moment I saw it. We were able to access it without any problems and leave our bikes in what truly appeared to be a bicycle mechanic's workshop from days gone by. Once we reached our rooms, the attention to detail from times gone by made us feel immediately at home. Airy and spacious, comfortable beds, all the amenities present and more. Nothing like the "spartan" place it had been described to us, in short. Maybe you don't pass by this place, but if you do you have to stop because from that day on this part of the world had reserved a dream for me.
