Came to the Black Forest from Canada for a solo hiking/camping trip. I stayed in the camp for three nights. it was wet and soggy in the last week of October. However Martin in the camp brought some warmth for my trip. He was kind and humorous. He provided good suggestions during the raining days such as a hiking route to the Feldberg peak and train/bus trip to Freiburg. I could not reach to the peak of Feldberg because the last section was closed due to a snow storm. I did reach the Feldsee which was amazing with white snow and colorful trees around the peaceful lake. I also took the train and bus to Freiburg with the best weather of the week. By the way the camping facilities are exceptional: warm showers, clean bathroom and dedicated grooming rooms, a dishwasher and even a couple of counter top stoves. The location is great as well, part of the hiking or jogging loop around Titisee Lake. It is a walk distance or a short free bus to the Titisee center. I will definitely come back to the campsite if I am back to Black Forest.

Brought a camper with roof tent, a little late arriving, but really easy check-in, read the instructions at reception, it'll tell you everything you need to check-in. Beautiful, quiet location, really friendly reception, shop serves fresh coffee and pastries. Best shower facilities I've ever seen in a campsite. Haven't rated the rooms as I didn't stay in one.

We had a lovely time camping here. The tent pitches are large and there are several electricity points you can easily reach (adapter and extension cord required). The generous facilities (toilets, showers, washing up stations, washer/dryer, freezer, etc.) are all well looked after and a joy to use. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The site is a short walk away from the lake and a once-an-hour bus takes you lots of beautiful places. Would definitely come back as well as recommending this site to anyone wanting to visit the beautiful Black Forest.
