Lofoten Å HI hostel

Beautifully located room in the old stockfish museum. Easy walk to the restaurant and plenty of parking. The room was comfortable and warm, and the beds were excellent. Great showers too, with good pressure.

We were 16 people reserved by a trip association and stayed for 3 nights. Very clean, well organized, there are very nice trails nearby. We cooked all our food in their kitchen. I recommend the fish stock museum tour which cost around 11 euros. Birds in the area are protected. It is possible the birds can wake you up. A nice souvenir shop. There are bakery and one restaurant which we did not test.

Love the location of this hostel. It is right in the middle of the village, so once you're done looking through the museum you can have a lovely night in. The kitchen is clean and usable and the living room/dining room is beautiful to sit in and have a meal. Even though reception is only available by appointment, we had a seamless check in and checkout just through the messaging system with the hostel.
