Barr na Sráide

We had a great experience at the Barr na Sráide. We loved our hostess! She was fantastic to get ideas for dinner and routes. We were able to walk everywhere and do our laundry too. The room is just large enough but a little tight. Bathroom was great!

We had a very pleasant stay at this B&B overall. The highlights were definitely the generous breakfast buffet, which offered plenty of choice, the ample private parking spaces in the courtyard, and the thoughtful touch of complimentary bottled water available in the hallway fridge. We also really enjoyed the direct access to the cozy pub belonging to the B&B – a great convenience in the evenings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. There are, however, a few aspects that could be improved. The rooms are quite noisy, as they are not very soundproof, and ours felt a little chilly at first since the heating only started with some delay. Additionally, we found the price for one night to be rather high compared to similar places we have stayed in. All in all, though, we were satisfied with our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality and nice amenities.

Great experience at this hotel. One of few places with quad rooms, which was perfect for our girls trip. The room was affordable, and if you book directly on their website, hot breakfast is included. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary water bottles and excellent shower. There is a free parking lot behind the inn (enter through the narrow alley to the right of the door), which was very helpful in the dense town center. Would absolutely stay again.
