Absolutely loved it. Great old building with lots of character. Had best nights sleep had in ages. Breakfast on both mornings excellent. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Bar prices were very good. Few minutes drive to Brixham harbour. Would definitely go again.

We stayed at this 12th century Hotel for valentines. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. Loved it and all its character and oldness. If you like modern places then this isn't the place for you. The breakfast was lovely and the lady serving breakfast was also very nice. Will definitely be staying here again

A warm pleasent welcome to a historic building. Recently taken over and under refurbishment.(as I understand things) The kitchens were closed on our visit, apart from breakfast. This is a very atmospheric environment with a knight in shining armor to greet you on the stairs. We enjoyed our short visit as we explored beautiful Devon by car and on foot
