Hostal El Levante

Stayed here for a few nights in mid June. An affordable, well situated between Kite surfing spots and town. Everything was clean and tidy. Quiet location, can't really hear the passing traffic. Would recommend to anyone for a future stay. Would benefit from having a car though - it is a bit far to walk to town if you are on foot.

I had a great stay at Hostel Levante in Tarifa. The location is perfect: it’s situated between the main beach of Los Lances and the city center, making it really convenient to move around, whether for enjoying the beach or going out in the evening. The structure is beautiful and unique, designed in a horseshoe shape with a well-maintained garden in the middle. A big plus for kitesurfers: there’s plenty of space to lay out kites and wash equipment, which is super convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and make guests feel at home. The rooms are another highlight—comfortable, well-equipped, and surprisingly quiet, perfect for resting after a day of sports or exploration. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming, and strategically located stay in Tarifa.

The bed was a bit too overused since it got a big dip in the middle which made it a bit uncomfortable. Checking in and out of the Hostal has been very fast thanks to automated systems and safe boxes for keys. Cleaning service was respectful of my goods and cleaned everything pretty well.
