Ferienhof "Zum Festungsblick"

I would like to thank the Lehmann family for the wonderful alpaca hike, which we found to be a truly relaxing break. The alpacas really did a great job of helping us forget the stress and worries of everyday life and surrender to the leisurely pace and friendly nature of these fluffy creatures for a few hours! The walk led around the Lilienstein, all easily walkable and varied, through woods and meadows, past the picturesque scenery of Saxon Switzerland! Thank you also for the wealth of information and anecdotes about the animals and the surrounding area that we received during the hike. It was truly a fantastic experience that we will cherish for a long time!

Unfortunately, we received an unfriendly welcome here. After arriving at this designated overnight parking area with our campervan, we were immediately approached by the farmer and had to justify our presence. The parking area was marked as private property without any further instructions. We got the impression that we weren't welcome and decided to move on.

Our family had two wonderful days on the farm! The peaceful atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and the hosts' breakfast gave us a great start to each day. Our daughter loved the chickens, ducks, and cats on the farm and had a blast exploring the expansive grounds. It's such a treasure in nature, with views of Königstein Fortress and the Lilienstein mountain! The highlight of our weekend trip was the alpaca walk around the Lilienstein, accompanied by our host's fascinating stories about the area. Thank you so much for the lovely time; we'll be back! ☺️
